Size Guidelines (approx):
1/16" (1.5mm) Bead = #20 hook
5/64" (2.0mm) Bead = #18 hook
3/32" (2.3mm) Bead = #16 hook
7/64" (2.8mm) Bead = #14 hook
1/8" (3.3mm) Bead = #12 hook
3/16" (4.6mm) Bead =#10 - #8
**7/32" (5.5mm) Bead = #6 - #4
Your hook type will also impact the bead sizing. Smaller gap hooks, go with a smaller bead size. Wider hook gaps can use a larger bead if you wish.
